Matthew McIntyre | Chief Executive Officer, LUTCF
Matthew McIntyre founded Puritan Financial Group in 1998. Mr. McIntyre began his career in the insurance industry in 1985, serving clients in the health and life insurance industry. He redirected his focus to the mature market in 1991 with great success. With his team, Puritan has grown from a start-up insurance agency into a multi-state, diversified financial services company that includes a Life Insurance Company and a broker-dealer with a nationwide account base and regional network of agents.
Paul Crooks | Chief Operating Officer
Paul Crooks joined Puritan Financial Companies in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer. He now serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Company. Mr. Crooks has held key positions in both operating and financial roles for Frito-Lay, Inc, Apple Computer and Rockwell International. His most recent role was Vice President of Operations Finance for Frito-Lay, Inc where he chaired the company’s operating committee and directed a $3 billion operating budget and a $1 billion capital budget. He is a graduate of Iowa State University with a B.S. in Engineering.
Ken Phillips | Chief Financial Officer and President - Puritan Life
Mr. Phillips was formerly the Chairman of American Founders Life Insurance Co. and Laurel Life Insurance Company since 2000. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Phillips served as President and Chief Executive Officer of IFS Insurance Holding Corporation. Mr. Phillips received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
Samuel Thomas | National Sales Director – Puritan Financial Group
Sam Thomas serves as President of PFG. Thomas began his insurance marketing career with the A. L. Williams Corporation (now Primerica Financial Services), a subsidiary of Citigroup, in 1987. Sam has been associated with PFG since its inception. He began his career with Puritan as a field agent serving clients in PFG’s Houston office. In 1998 he was promoted to the Houston Area Sales Director, managing and overseeing the South Texas territory. In 2000 Sam was promoted to Regional Vice President of PFG and in 2012 was named National Sales Director.
Craig Wagner | Vice President
Craig Wagner currently serves as Vice President Marketing for PFG. He has been instrumental in the development of new sales territories as a result of corporate expansion. Craig was President of an affiliate of PFG for five years. His past responsibilities included corporate expansion through market analysis, personnel evaluation, financial analysis and sales management. Wagner received a Bachelor of Science-Mechanical Engineering Technology degree from Texas Tech University. Craig Wagner is a former recipient of the “Puritan Financial Group Executive of the Year” award.
Jeremy Rabalais | National Sales Director
Jeremy Rabalais had an 11 year background in direct sales, sales training and sales management prior to his introduction to insurance. He began his insurance career in 2002 with General Electric marketing Long Term Care Insurance. In 2004 he became an independent producer of LTC, Medicare Supplements, Single Premium Life and Annuities. Jeremy joined Puritan Financial Group, Inc. as a Sales Representative in May, 2006. He was promoted to District Manager of the Louisiana Region in July of 2008 and also the North Texas Region in June of 2009. Jeremy is a former “District Manager of the Year” award winner. His efforts led him to be promoted to the Regional Vice President in September of 2009 and National Sales Director in 2012.
