Matt McIntyreMatthew McIntyre | Chief Executive Officer, LUTCF

Matthew McIntyre founded Puritan Financial Group in 1998. Mr. McIntyre began his career in the insurance industry in 1985, serving clients in the health and life insurance industry. He redirected his focus to the mature market in 1991 with great success. With his team, Puritan has grown from a start-up insurance agency into a multi-state, diversified financial services company that includes a Life Insurance Company and a broker-dealer with a nationwide account base and regional network of agents.

 

Paul CrooksPaul Crooks | Chief Operating Officer

Paul Crooks joined Puritan Financial Companies in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer. He now serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Company. Mr. Crooks has held key positions in both operating and financial roles for Frito-Lay, Inc, Apple Computer and Rockwell International. His most recent role was Vice President of Operations Finance for Frito-Lay, Inc where he chaired the company’s operating committee and directed a $3 billion operating budget and a $1 billion capital budget. He is a graduate of Iowa State University with a B.S. in Engineering.

 

Ken PhillipsKen Phillips | Chief Financial Officer and President - Puritan LIfe

Mr. Phillips was formerly the Chairman of American Founders Life Insurance Co. and Laurel Life Insurance Company since 2000. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Phillips served as President and Chief Executive Officer of IFS Insurance Holding Corporation. Mr. Phillips received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of Texas at Austin.

 

 

Samuel ThomasSamuel Thomas | President - Puritan Financial Group

Sam Thomas serves as President of PFG. Thomas began his insurance marketing career with the A. L. Williams Corporation (now Primerica Financial Services), a subsidiary of Citigroup, in 1987. Sam has been associated with PFG since its inception. He began his career with Puritan as a field agent serving clients in PFG’s Houston office. In 1998 he was promoted to the Houston Area Sales Director, managing and overseeing the South Texas territory. In 2000 Sam was promoted to Regional Vice President of PFG and in 2008 was named President.

 

Scott BrooksT. Scott Brooks | President - Puritan Brokerage Services

Mr. Brooks, President, joined Puritan in 2007 to establish Puritan Investments, which includes the Brokerage and Investment Advisory affiliates. Scott formerly served as President of RushTrade Securities, now Terra Nova Trading. He joined RushTrade in November of 2004 with over twenty years of experience in the securities industry. He previously served as President of Online Securities, Inc., with operations in both Europe and the U.S. Prior to Online, he served as President of Brokerage Services for Momentum Securities, Inc. Scott’s earlier career included positions with Goldman Sachs, Texas First Brokerage, and Kemper Securities. Scott brings to Puritan extensive experience in options trading, retail direct-access trading, management of personnel in compliance, customer support and operations.

 

Craig WagnerCraig Wagner | Vice President

Craig Wagner currently serves as Vice President Marketing for PFG. He has been instrumental in the development of new sales territories as a result of corporate expansion. Craig was President of an affiliate of PFG for five years. His past responsibilities included corporate expansion through market analysis, personnel evaluation, financial analysis and sales management. Wagner received a Bachelor of Science-Mechanical Engineering Technology degree from Texas Tech University. Craig Wagner was awarded the "2007 Puritan Financial Group Executive of the Year" Award.

 

Todd RabalaisTodd Rabalais | Regional Vice President

Todd Rabalais began his Insurance Career with New York Life in 1995 in the Long Term Care Insurance Division. In 1996 he was the Top Producer in the Country in Long Term Care sales. He joined John Hancock Life Insurance Company in the same capacity in 1997, and remained with Hancock until opening his own agency in 1999. Todd was an independent producer of Long Term Care, Medicare Supplements, Single Premium Life and Annuities until joining Puritan in April 2006. He was promoted to District Manager in October 2006. His Louisiana office led the company in 2007. He was awarded Agent of the Year, District Manager of the Year, and Most Valuable Player in 2007. His efforts led him to be promoted to an executive management position. He was promoted to Regional Vice President in September 2008. His Southern Region territory includes Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Texas and Arizona.

 

Gregg MacInnisGregg MacInnis | Regional Vice President

Gregg MacInnis has been with PFG since its inception in 1998. Gregg started as a licensed insurance agent and worked his way to Area Director, Regional Director, National Director and currently Regional Vice President. During his career with PFG, Mr. MacInnis has been instrumental in the opening and start-up of new district or regional offices for Puritan, including Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arizona and Michigan. He is an experienced leader in the training and supervision of agents and representatives for the Company. Gregg MacInnis was awarded the “2006 Puritan Financial Group Executive of the Year” Award. He is a Michigan native, and attended the University of Michigan, Flint, Michigan.

 

Jeremy RabalaisJeremy Rabalais | Regional Vice President

Jeremy Rabalais had an 11 year background in direct sales, sales training and sales management prior to his introduction to insurance. He began his insurance career in 2002 with General Electric marketing Long Term Care Insurance. In 2004 he became an independent producer of LTC, Medicare Supplements, Single Premium Life and Annuities. Jeremy joined Puritan Financial Group, Inc. as a Sales Representative in May, 2006. He was promoted to District Manager of the Louisiana Region in July of 2008 and also the North Texas Region in June of 2009. He was awarded the DM of the year in 2008. His efforts led him to be promoted to the regional vice president in September of 2009. His Northeast Territory includes Philadelphia, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, and Ohio.

   

Bruce PullenBruce Pullen | Vice President - Wealth Management Group

Mr. Pullen joined Puritan Financial Group as Director of Corporate Training in 2009 to develop a proprietary On-Line Training Module Program. Once completed, he was promoted to his current position of VP of Sales and Marketing for the newly formed Puritan Wealth Management Group. Mr. Pullen has been a leader in the Financial Services Industry for 23 years, most recently spending six years with MetLife as Regional Managing Director, where he built a very successful agency of 56 Financial Services Representatives while receiving numerous awards including Manager of the Year, Chairman's Council Qualifier, Platinum Club, and Diamond Club Qualifier. He is a Registered Principal. He graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a BBA degree.
